The Government of Rajasthan along with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) is organizing a Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM) that shall showcase the innovative and astounding agro-technologies to visitors.
The technological platform spread over a large area under GRAM shall be named “Smart Farm”. It is referred to as “a live walk-through model” that will give great emphasis to the modern technologies in the value chain which begin with pre-harvest, post-harvest, and includes modern scientific storage along with the banking and agri-banking choices. More than 50,000 farmers are expected to visit GRAM which will be held from November 9 to 11 this year.
The Smart Farm shall highlight the necessity of resource conservation in future farming practices. Light would be shed on the fulfilment of sustainable development motives. Key areas that shall be discussed would be the need for farm mechanization, organic farming, and soil testing.
GRAM is a welcome move and explains how it is needful to practice efficient farming methods at the farmlands for getting optimum yield. At Agrocorp farms, we practice organic farming with the usage of bio-fertilizers, bio-pesticides, and organic manure. This increases the fertility of the soil, and gives good output from the farms!
The latest farming technology is in use at the Agrocorp farmlands. The agriculture sector is expected to grow at 4% in this fiscal. This is good for the farmers as well as the economy. In India, most farmers depend on adequate rainfalls for good crop productivity. But the multiple cropping practiced at Agrocorp lessens the dependence on rainfalls. Also, the proper irrigation system makes the farm investments more secure.
The initiative by the Rajasthan government and FICCI is very positive in spreading awareness amongst the farmers of modern farming technology. The Agrocorp team supports this idea!
