The farmers of Andhra Pradesh are constantly being showered with new schemes by the government to boost agricultural productivity. One such boon given to the farmers is availability of free electricity for farming. The government of Andhra Pradesh is providing subsidy on agriculture since 2004. Dr. Y. S. Raja Sekhara Reddy signed the scheme on beginning his term as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. As a result of the scheme, the farmers get power for at least 7 hours per day. This measure taken by the government has helped poor farmers a lot as they usually don’t have access to power resources affecting their agricultural output adversely.
The current Chief Minister of the state, N Chandrababu Naidu declared on 24th April 2016, that Andhra Pradesh soon will be a “100% household electrified state”. State Energy Conservation Mission (SECM) said that currently 158 million units are consumed in a day by all households taken together and the energy need will increase as the summers get hotter. Thus, by June 8, government plans to provide uninterrupted power to all households.
“A total of 4.74 lakh household have been electrified by the end of 2014-15 and the remaining 2.09 lakh will be electrified by May 16 to reach the 100 per cent household electrification”.

AGROCORP started agro-farming in Andhra Pradesh considering the fact that the state is a highly electrified region and abundant availability of power is pre-requisite for farming. Electricity saves time and energy by reducing the hand work of labour thus making the farming process faster. We at AGROCORP, use advance machinery along with modern farming techniques to achieve maximum output and help our investors earn huge profits.
AGROCORP’s agri-farming venture is a planned out manoeuvre that is set up by taking every favourable aspect of farming into consideration. Mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 70930 64464 to know about how you too can reap great benefits from our agricultural projects.
